SIMPLE FAITH
BIBLE BASIS: MARK 10:17-31
BIBLE TRUTH: Jesus showed that faith in God makes it possible for people to sacrifice their all for the benefit of others.
MEMORY VERSE: “The Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me" (Mark 9:29).
LESSON AIM: By the end of the lesson we will: KNOW the facts of the rich young man's encounter with Jesus: CELEBRATE the direct link between making sacrifices and receiving God's salvation; and COMMIT to making greater sacrifices for others in the name of Jesus Christ.
